Admissions

Applying for a school place – Reception to Year 6

North Yorkshire Council is the admissions authority for our schools, handling all applications for pupils in Reception through to Year 6.  Please find below a link to the council’s school admissions page. If you are new to the area, considering a move or would like to know a bit more about our schools, please do contact us directly – we’ll do all we can to provide information, arrange a tour of our schools and support with transition.

Applying for a Nursery place

Admissions to our Nursery, based at Reeth, are managed by the school. Children are eligible for a funded place at our setting from the term after their third birthday. We offer up to 30 hours of provision each week. Please find below a link to Childcare Choices, providing information on eligibility. We offer flexibility, with parents able to choose the sessions that suit their circumstances. We also offer extra, paid for sessions (beyond the scope of funded hours). Some families find this helpful when they require a little more childcare, or if they would like their child to start when they turn 3 years old, before the new term begins.

Please contact the school office for more information, or to register interest in a place for your child.
