Batik art

Meadow study with YDNP

Year 1&2 pupils spent the day studying the meadow habitat at Muker with staff from Yorkshire Dales National Park. They had a great time identifying buttercup, red clover, selfheal, oxeye daisy, cow parsley, bird's foot trefoil, bistort and germander speedwell.  

Bike adventure

There were some heavy showers on Friday, but the sun came out in time for after school bike club. We enjoyed a super ride in Gunnerside Gill, with lots of variety and a great sense of adventure. 

Community vegetable garden

Key stage 1 pupils have visited the community vegetable garden based at Reeth Medical Centre to plant out green beans, peas, sunflowers, radish and nasturtium that they have grown from seed. Thanks to Gail Wilkinson who has been helping us with the project.
