Reception children enjoyed a super visit to Newby Hall to enhance their learning on their topic, ‘What’s in your garden?’ They explored the gardens and footpaths and also looked at the dolls house exhibition and the teddy bear room. They took shelter under a big tree for a rainy picnic and were all grateful to the tree for keeping them dry! The day ended with a brilliant ride on the miniature railway, by the river, over bridges and even through a tunnel!
