Our schools were most recently inspected in March 2023. We are delighted with the outcome that confirms that both schools continue to be good. The inspection reports celebrate pupils’ exemplary behaviour, our curriculum, the ambitious staff and governors and the range of opportunities to learn both locally and further afield. SIAMS
As a church school, Gunnerside Methodist Primary School was inspected in September 2023. The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate the school’s distinctiveness and effectiveness as a Methodist primary school. We all really enjoyed the visit as a chance to share what we do. Pupils at both schools were very articulate, explaining our approach to school life, our values and opportunities for spiritual development. We are delighted with the outcome that reflects the hard work of the staff team, the input of the Methodist Church and of course the fantastic approach that pupils have to school life. Well done everyone!
