Our school uniform can be purchased from our online supplier at www.school-shop.co.uk. There is no minimum order. The school does not hold any uniform stocks, but the school office staff will happily help you with any queries you may have about requirements or assist you with internet access.
The Friends of the School also hold stocks of good quality previously worn items which have been outgrown or passed on by past pupils. Items available for a small donation to the Friends of the School. Please contact the school office for details of who to contact about these items.
Uniform Requirements and Expectations

- Purple or white polo shirt (with or without embroidered school logo).
- Charcoal grey trousers/shorts or grey skirt/pinafore.

PE UNIFORM and PE KIT:
For Physical Education activities we require children to keep the following items in school at all times, in a named bag:
- Purple PE t-shirt (with Reeth and Gunnerside Sport Logo on reverse)
- Plain black shorts
And - for use outdoors -
- Plain, dark coloured tracksuit/jogging bottoms
- Plain sweatshirt/long sleeved top. A purple PE Hoody (with Reeth and Gunnerside Sport Logo on reserve) is available as an optional item from our uniform supplier
A purple PE kit bag (embroidered with school logo) is available as an optional item from our uniform supplier.
As weather conditions often change during the school day, children should always bring a jacket/coat to school. The following are available as optional items (embroidered with school logo) from our uniform supplier – two types of purple outdoor coats / jackets, knitted acrylic hats, purple baseball caps
Shoes (not trainers) should be worn with uniform during the school day. If boots/wellingtons are worn to school, shoes should be brought to change into for health and safety reasons. For lunchtimes and playtimes children are required to change into trainers (from PE Kit) or outdoor shoes/boots.
BOOK BAGS (embroidered with school logo):
The Friends of the Schools kindly fund the cost of these bags. All children receive a school book bag when they join the schools and these should be used throughout the Foundation/Key Stage 1 years. From Year 3 upwards rucksacks or shoulder bags (of your choice) are allowed as an alternative.
No jewellery, other than wrist watches and/or stud earrings should be worn in school. These items need to be removed for PE activities. Nail varnish should also not be worn.
PLEASE REMEMBER to help your child by ensuring that all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name. Iron on name tapes are available from our uniform supplier.
Your support in helping us achieve these standards is much appreciated.
