Welcome to our schools

Welcome to Reeth and Gunnerside Primary Schools. Together we educate the children of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale from the age of 3 to 11 years. Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we have a fantastic learning environment on our doorstep that provides superb opportunities for first hand learning, and this is complemented by great facilities within the schools. We serve our community and work closely with local partners, which enriches our curriculum, supports learning and adds relevance to what we do. I can’t think of a better place to go to school!

It is our aim to ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential academically, while also developing holistically to become well rounded individuals ready for the next step of education, and for life. As a school we strive to meet the needs of individual learners and we know that an effective partnership between pupils, parents and the school is essential to achieve this aim.
